Poem for today's prompt: loneliness (announcement)
It's certainly been a minute Commaful! But (for now) I'm back with a new poem that I'm actually not quite sure if it makes any actual sense. I'll leave that decision up to you but I hope you enjoy it!
Are we just a laughing stock to you? You laugh, giggle, chuckle at the zoo. (Inspired by today's prompt: animal and animal captivity nowadays. Gets a bit weird at the end :D)
tie me down, to all my mistakes.
Every day I would dream of bursting these shackles
The daring escape of a captive called Deirdra.
Through the broken hearts
The Caged Bird lives for the freedom outside
Trapped within the lover's delight
you try to escape that cage... but you can't decide if you really want to. / for national women's history month/international women's day
