For my catty friend

In the middle of a winter wonderland, I sit and wonder.

Can I fear something that may only exist in my mind?

I'm lost to the tides of the sea in my mind.

My demons haunt me, and they will be the death of me one day.

To tell the truth, I don't know who I truly am, nor do I like myself.

The silence between us is deafening but I must let this end and break out of the shell of who I was.

Jusy leave me behind. Never look back.
