The feeling of blissful relief in something as simple as a shower.
A reminder to myself,
looking back on difficult years and the kindness of God.
A reminder to not lose hope in the darkest times.
The rain has washed the world clean Rinsed each eye of its jaded smog
Where I live, the maple trees are shedding their seeds. They do look like golden feathers to me as they glide across the spring wind. Enjoy this poem!
Sitting with your lover in a feild and showing them their beauty.
I wrote this two years ago with such high hopes. Despite this person putting me through so much, they opened me up and showed me a new world.
