Not one of my normal poems, but it’s something I wrote a while ago and thought it should be shared.

Not everyone’s mother is loving.

Long distance relationships may be painful, but holding onto hope is what makes them survive.

No matter how destroyed you feel, there’s always a chance to pick up the pieces.

Depression is an invisible monster with the power to destroy.

You can’t numb the pain forever.

Sometimes it takes a rude awakening to bring you out of self destruction.

Isolation can haunt even the strongest of souls
